Charles Dickens is a world-renowned English classic. His works have been translated into many languages, are constantly reprinted, and often adapted into films. The novel "Great Expectations" is one of the author's last works. It tells the story of a young man named Philip Pirrip, who was nicknamed Pip in childhood. Being just a simple boy, he falls in love with the beautiful Estella, but she only plays with him. Suddenly, someone, wishing to remain anonymous, donates a large sum for Pip's upkeep. Can he become a true gentleman and win his beloved's heart? And most importantly, will his great expectations be shattered when he finds out who his benefactor is?
