Andrei Andreevich Voznesensky - the Great Russian poet, whose poems with their unusual rhythm and bold metaphors literally broke well-established canons of Soviet poetry. Voznesensky became a cumome of millions, his performances collected stadiums, the books instantly disappeared from the counters, and every new poem became an event. And this fame was not fleeting - she accompanied the poet until the last days of his life. But no less interest than poems represents and the prose of the poet is just as bright, metaphorical and paradoxical. In it, the author talks about his childhood, about the literary and public life of our country for half a century, about meetings with famous poets and writers (B. Pasternak, K. Chukovsky, V. Hasotsky, V.Katayev, B.Okuzhava, L.Aragon , Zh.-P. Sartrh, G. Grass, A. Miller), artists and sculptors (P. Picasso, M. Shagalom, E.Nurovnaya, Mur), politicians (N. Khrushchev, M.Gorbachev, R. Khodasevic), reflections on the fate of the Russian intelligentsia and the paths of development of our country and its culture.
