The six -string guitar is one of the most beloved and popular tools around the world. In Russia, a fundamental school of classical guitar has long existed for a long time. Accordingly, the teaching methodology is improved and concert repertoire is accumulated. However, with the advent of the art schools in children"s music schools and art schools, there was a need for a new repertoire, as well as in some new methodological approaches to its development. It is for this category of beginner musicians (as well as their teachers) that this work is intended. The manual is focused on beginner musicians, some general information is given here, which can be attributed to the basic, which will also allow it to be engaged in it not only with the teacher, but also independently. Some methodological concepts are given, illustrated with more and more complicated musical material. At the same time, the emphasis is not on the instructive and theoretical part of the training, but rather on a practical performing. For examples, not classic, but pop and jazz works were used
