The book discusses a whole range of problems concerning the process of grief and overcoming injury in people whose relatives disappeared - became victims of the violent disappearance "as a result of wars, the exacerbation of the political situation or they were disappeared due to a natural disaster. The theoretical foundations of this new study area are presented and a historical overview of the events of the twentieth century, in which the phenomenon of enforced disappearances manifested itself with a special sharpness. The many years of practical experience of psychotherapy of relatives of missing in various settings is presented, including work in crisis points (war, terrorist attacks, natural disasters) Special attention is paid to collective strategies to overcome traumatic experiences with a non-traced disappearance of loved ones and self-help issues and psycho-libeins of professionals who provide them with psychological assistance
