Meanwhile, Hitler comes to power in Germany, and not only Vango's fate but the entire world's course changes.
In 2010, after the global success of the fantasy "Toby Alone," French writer Timothée de Fombelle released a new young adult novel, which critics immediately called the best of the best. In France alone, the book sold over 100,000 copies. "Vango" is the first joint project of the publishing houses "CompassGuide" and "Samokat," which united specifically to present this exciting book to the Russian reader. "Between Sky and Earth" is the first part of a two-volume work.
The novel "Vango" has been translated into a dozen and a half languages, entered the lists of the best books of the year by the Independent UK and The Observer newspapers, and has been awarded several literary prizes, among which are the English PEN Club Award and the IBBY Honour List.
