Valdai hill formed by the bizarre movement of the glacier and became the main watershed of the Russian Plain, gives the beginning of the Volga, Dnieper and Western Dvin. At its extensive territory, many beautiful lakes attracting their purity and transparency of waters spread. This wonderful corner of the Russian Nature gave the life of the city of the same name, located almost in the middle of the Moscow-Petersburg highway. Its centuries-old history was determined by the impact of the way life of both capitals and the sustainability of provincial traditions
