How and why did the idea of total air warfare come about in England and the USA? This type of warfare involves aviation destroying cities and a country's infrastructure, terrorizing and killing civilian populations. During the Second World War, Anglo-American aviation destroyed around fifty cities in Europe and Asia, resulting in the deaths of over two million people. Americans and their allies used similarly barbaric methods during the Korean War (1950-1953), the Vietnam War (1964-1973), and the bombing of Yugoslavia (1999). All of this and much more is discussed in the new book by Alexander Shirikorad.
