The book summarizes the results of research conducted by the author on the methodology of urban planning on disturbed territories. A new classification of disturbed territories is proposed, developed based on morphological analysis. Criteria and stages for assessing disturbed territories are considered, taking into account physical environmental factors and urban planning conditions. The methodology for selecting the use of stone quarries in urban planning is provided, as well as examples of using disturbed territories for terraced development and park construction. The book can be useful for architects, ecologists, economists, and engineers in the field of urban planning, design, and management, as well as for students studying urban planning and architectural specialties.
