Urban Planning Basics

A teaching and methodological association is admitted to the specialties of pedagogical education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation as a tutorial for students of higher educational institutions, students in the specialty 2901 "Architecture".
In the textbook, the general theoretical foundations of urban planning are presented - from an understanding of common social and artistic and aesthetic problems to issues of practical development of elements of planning projects, buildings, improvement and landscaping. A brief historical review of town-planning art and landscape architecture, which discloses the patterns of formation of the main types of planning urban structures and works of landscape architecture, their relationship with the natural environment
