Unified State Exam in Biology. Practical preparation

The sections of the school biology course necessary for preparing applicants for the Unified State Exam (EGE) in this subject have been considered: botany, zoology, anatomy, and general biology. The material is systematized by sections and topics: first, theoretical knowledge is compactly presented, then tests are offered to reinforce the material on individual topics and the entire section covered, and as a conclusion - final tests for the entire course in the EGE format, based on the analysis of EGE questions from the open task bank. The manual takes into account the increased requirements due to the complexity of the EGE, with an emphasis on human anatomy and general biology, questions on which make up the main part of the EGE tasks. New illustrations and diagrams, new thematic tests, and final tests in the EGE format have been added to the 7th edition, brought in line with the 2023 specification, and the chapter on preparing for and solving problems in cytology and genetics has been expanded.
