Pyotr Alexeyevich Kolosov - for many years the unwavering bell-ringer of the Andreevsky Monastery, rightfully considered one of the best bell-ringers in Moscow. In addition, he is a wonderful storyteller with a rich life experience, whose stories can be heard on the radio program "Tales of the Old Bell-Ringer" on Radio Vera. These stories formed the basis of this book. However, the book is not only about bells and chimes, but also about various interesting events from the long life of an Orthodox Christian - a bell-ringer, writer, translator, geographer-hydrologist, and simply a Muscovite for several generations. The backbone of all the stories is the life of the Russian Orthodox Church, to which the heart of an Orthodox person responds with love and devoted service.
