Simple worker Ignat Paustov falls in love with the first beauty of the provincial Primorsk - singer Lia. He starts pursuing her, scaring off suitors and tormenting her with declarations of love. But Lia dreams of a prince on a white horse. And in one beautiful moment, her dream comes true. A respectable businessman Georgy Yurshin starts courting Lia, buying her an apartment, a car, and hiring her as a singer in his own restaurant. Ignat is furious.
