The book provides a detailed overview of almost all aspects of the theory and practice of ultrasound diagnostics in gynecology. The main feature of this guide is the combination of an academic approach to all aspects of the methodology and semiotics of ultrasound examination in gynecological diseases with a detailed analysis of all nuances of using the most modern classifications, algorithms, and diagnostic models.
The methodology and protocol design of the examination, the normal ultrasound picture of the genital organs taking into account the menstrual cycle periods, as well as changes in postmenopause, are discussed. Special attention is paid to the assessment of endometrial receptivity. Ultrasound diagnostics of developmental disorders of the reproductive system and neuroendocrine pathology are considered. A comparative assessment of the currently used classifications of congenital anomalies ARSM, CONUTA, and CUME is provided.

Significant attention is paid to the use of diagnostic ultrasound in emergency gynecology: ectopic pregnancies of all known localizations, ruptures, and torsions of uterine appendages. The features of ultrasound in trophoblastic disease are detailed.
