This work, written on the basis of the analysis of embroidery of the Volyn Polesie, was one of the first works devoted to the ornamentation of folk art of Little Russia. The Publishing House "White City" represents the reader of the colorful album "Ukrainian folk ornament. Samples of embroidery and fabrics. " The author of the collection is Kosach Olga Petrovna, who collected embroidery, based on the analysis of which the above album was released. Patterns in the album are distributed in terms of complexity. The embroiderer department is divided into three parts according to sewing methods, which is important in their relative antiquity or novelty and by the share of the influence that they have on the patterns reproduced by means of their patterns. According to this, in the sewing department, the first six sheets represent embroidery performed by sewing - "invisibility" (set), then the next six sheets - "flooring" (surface) and the remaining fourteen sheets - crosses". The publication is intended for lovers of ancient folk embroidery, as well as for artists, decorators and for a wide range of readers
