Many complaints and misunderstandings have accumulated around him. Only a future researcher will have a special task - to find out who Tolstaya really was and what her true significance was in the fate and life of Tolstoy. The personality of Dostoevskaya is much less complex, much clearer. Again, a future biographer of her husband will thoroughly investigate her worthy role in this suffering biography.
Yuliy Isaevich Aikhenvald (1872 - 1928, Berlin) - Russian literary critic, philosopher. Aikhenvald gained fame when he switched from philosophy to literary criticism and began publishing critical feuilletons from the perspective of mystical-religious beliefs. In September 1922, after being arrested, he was exiled abroad along with many scholars and writers on a philosophical steamship.
