“Two pilgrims” is a historical religious romance of the current Constantinople Patriarch Saak Mashalyan, who published in 2017 in Armenia. He talks about the life of two ascetics of the Armenian Church: Ovannes Bagiseci (Kolota, 1678–1741) and Grigor Shkhtayakira (Verigonets, 1670–1749) before their formation by the Patriarchs of Constantinople and Jerusalem, respectively. The contribution of Kolota and Shkhtayakir to the Armenian culture is huge: they founded the first choir of singers at the Cathedral, saved the ancient Armenian manuscripts, built monasteries and helped people. This full poetic metaphors and a deep mystical feeling, the novel will be curious not only to those who are interested in the history of the Armenian Church, but to all seeking a genuine miracle
