This publication is devoted to one of the most discussed and controversial problems of modern phthisiatria - epidemiology, pathogenesis, the peculiarities of clinical flow and therapy of tuberculosis in individuals of the elderly and senile age. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the clinical course and the forecast of the disease with a combination of tuberculosis with a number of other diseases in patients of this age. The publication is based on lectures and seminars conducted by the author at the Department of Physiopulmonology of the Republic of RMAP.
