Having received European education, he sought to direct his royal efforts for the benefit of Russia, but did not manage to overcome the contradictions between different layers of the population. Boyars, Cossacks, Proshirotina, Polish Channel - everyone wanted her. He, besides, was humane and tried to rule without violence.
