Additionally, there were changes in power dynamics, with the nobility rising to prominent roles, paving the way for their "Golden Age," as well as innovations in culture and way of life.
Most of the changes in the 17th century occurred during the reign of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich. The second tsar from the Romanov dynasty was one of the creators of the "Age of Reforms," but this era also shaped him. This is the subject of the present book, which tells the story of the man in history and history in the man.
In addition, the historical essay "The Day of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich" by A.A. Kizevetter is published, which describes the daily rituals and work of the Russian tsar.
