Tropical diseases are included, insufficiently discussed or fully absent in editions of similar subjects, as well as parasitic diseases, which are traditionally part of tropical medicine. The book was prepared mainly on the basis of WHO materials and recommendations, modern data of world science and practice and adapted to consider the experience of Russian specialists. Personal observations of the author who have experience in the endemic foci of Russia and the countries of the tropical climate are also used.
