Currently, the system of statistical accounting and analysis of indicators of activity in the field of tourism in the Russian Federation is absent, which causes many errors in the process of assessing the economic contribution of tourism and its significance.
The monograph proposes a modern system of statistical accounting in the field of tourism, comparable to generally accepted international systems, based on modern methods. Improving the tourism management system will create the possibilities of accelerated development of tourism and increase its role in the socio-economic development of the country.
