Stig Dagerman (1923-1954) is the author of novels, plays, poems and stories, an idol of the whole generation of Scandinavians. His novels “Snake” (1945) and “The island of the doomed” (1946) made a young writer as a sign figure of literary Sweden.
However, Dagerman worked all his life as a journalist, creating articles, reports, reviews and poems for the anger of the day for the syndicalist newspaper Worker. In 1946, the Expressen newspaper invited Dagerman to go to Germany and write travel notes on the country"s post -war life. They aroused such an interest that already in 1947 they were published by a separate book.
This publication is supplemented by several software texts of Steg Dagerman of the military and post -war periods
