The book tells about a number of Italian cities at the junction of two regions-Emilia-Romania and Mark: Rimini, Ravenna, Bologna, Anon, Urbino, Pesaro, Cesen, Forli, Gradar, Santarkanjelo Di-Romania, San Leo and, as a separate unique state education, San Marino. The main attention is paid to the eras of antiquity and the Middle Ages. The book is oriented to everyone who is interested in these eras, Italian art and culture. First of all, the history of this Italian region is closely connected with Byzantium, since it was here that the famous sea pentapol (pentagrada) was located - the center and support of the Byzantines power in Italy - and many of the most important events of the war of the Emperor Justinian with the Goths (whose capital was equal)
