The textbook is compiled in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary Professional Education in the specialty "Hotel Service". The educational publication is intended to study the professional module of PM.01 "Booking Hotel Services", interdisciplinary course" Organization of the activities of hotel reservation services" (MDK.01.01), and can also be used in the study of the interdisciplinary course "Organization and control of the current activities of the reservation service officers and sales" (MDK.04.01) with a degree in hotel business.
The training manual discusses changes in reservation technologies from the emergence of hospitality enterprises to this day. The technological foundations of the reservation process, the requirements for personnel are characterized, and a review of the technical and reservation software has been given. Examples of documents used in the reservation procedure are given. Types and relevant forms of reservation are described. Each head of the educational publication is accompanied by control issues and practical-oriented tasks.
