This textbook consists of five lessons and contains texts dedicated to famous politicians, cultural figures and outstanding representatives of various professions. The purpose of the work is to develop students" skills and skills necessary for the translation and analysis of texts of socio -political subjects of medium complexity. At the same time, the emphasis is on memorizing the Sino-Russian correspondences of the common phrases (syntagm) and individual sentences, on the implementation of exercises on translation from the Chinese language into Russian and the analysis of simple sentences at the level of phrases. Part of the exercises is devoted to the actual division of super -frase unity in modern Chinese. The work is primarily intended for students of the faculties of foreign languages of pedagogical universities of the third and subsequent courses studying the discipline "pre -transaction analysis of the text". It may also be useful to teachers of the Chinese language and persons studying it independently
