"Eight stanzas on the transformation of the mind of the Tibetan mentor of the 9th century. Geshe Langry Tangpa is one of the most significant poetic works of the Lodgeong tradition, a set of spiritual practices aimed at transforming consciousness. In a brief form, it describes the spiritual practices of educating compassion, an equal attitude towards oneself and others, a positive image of thought and transforming adverse situations into conditions that contribute to spiritual growth.
In the book "Transformation of the mind", his Holiness the Dalai Lama explains in detail each stanza of this spiritual poem, which he reaches the sources of his inspiration. The book was compiled on the basis of oral instructions granted to the Dalai Lama in London in May 1999.
The book is published in the Naland series produced by the Foundation "Save Tibet" under the spiritual leadership of Talo Tulka Rinpoche
