Andrei Rublev (c. 1360–1428) - the most famous and revered Russian icon painter of the 15th century. Born in the Moscow Principality (according to other sources - in Veliky Novgorod) The first mention of the icon painter appeared in the annals of 1405, indicating that Feofan Grek, Prokhor-Starz, Chernets and Andrei Rublev painted the Annunciation Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. The second time in the annals of Rublev is mentioned in 1408, when he made paintings with Daniel Cherny in the Assumption Cathedral in Vladimir. In 1425-1427, Rublev, together with Daniel Black and other masters, painted the Trinity Cathedral of the Trinity-Sergius Monastery and created the icons of its iconostasis. Probably, it was this iconostasis that included the famous “Trinity”. In his works, the icon painter embodied a new, exalted understanding of the spiritual beauty and moral strength of man. His work is one of the heights of Russian and world culture. Rublev died during pavement on October 17, 1428 in Moscow, in the Andronnikov Monastery, where in the spring of 1428 he completed his fourth well -known chronicles - the frescoes of the Spassky Council. He was buried near the bell tower of the Spassky Cathedral in the Andronikov Monastery. Coloring interprets some well -known works of the icon painter. Pages of coloring are easily separated from the album and can be decorated as independent paintings
