Tolstoy"s photo album in life is a continuation of the series, published in two volumes in 1982 and 1988. The 3rd album is a photoranscase about the life of Tolstoy from 1900 to 1905. It is also a complete catalog of images of a writer from the collection of the State Museum of L.N. Tolstoy in Moscow. In addition, it is dominated by rare photographs, filmed mainly by amateurs (including family members and relatives of the writer), most of which were not previously published, separate blocks are devoted to the children of Tolstoy. In the comments to photographs included numerous texts of L.N. Tolstoy, people from his environment, its contemporaries, giving the opportunity to make a versatile and objective view of the Lion Tolstoy, "bring approach" and "revive the long-lasting time of the beginning of the 20th century, noted by such essential Historical events, as a war of Russia with Japan and the 1905 revolution, but, the main thing, to hear the writer himself, who was a sensitive barometer of the moral atmosphere not only of his family, but also his homeland and the whole world
