The book contains works on the study of the Russian thought of the XIX and XX centuries, which have written over several decades.
Recently, attempts are being made to overestimate the importance of Russian philosophy towards lowering and deriving it for a circle of European philosophical and cultural development. The task of this book is to resist this trend and show in the renewed perspective of many leading persons of domestic philosophizing. In the center of the book - three blocks of texts analyzing the spiritual scale and dramatic collisions of the thought of the primary creators of the religious-philosophical Renaissance in Russia - B.C. Solovyova, N.A. Berdyaeva, S.N. Bulgakov. In addition, the features of the mental path of such influential figures as L.I. Sixt, P.A. Florensky, S.L. Frank, G.P. Fedotov.
In accordance with the Russian cultural tradition to thinkers, not at least as philosophers actually belong to the great classics of our literature, who performed with social prophecies, "with the most acute identity issues and the deepest questions about God and the world" ( A.A. Block) This gives us a reason to include in a number of illuminated names A.S. Pushkin, F.M. Dostoevsky, A.I. Solzhenitsyn
