The book of the doctor of good and gracious is dedicated to the life and works of St. Luke (Warneletsky), Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimean. An outstanding surgeon, a flame preacher of the Word of God, Luke"s saint walked by truth and suffering and, in the full sense of the word, life laid his own. And his friends, - since the beggar of the vagrants, with whom the saint shared the food and the last tag, from the simplest Luda, the poor and clogged, - to the power of the people and even the camp tormentors, whom, happened, saved from an imminent death with medical practices.
His life, scientific works, sermons, letters, warm memories of contemporaries reveal on the pages of publication the image of a courageous Christian-confessor, in the inhuman conditions of camps and persecution of the church of the preserved loyalty to Christ.
