An autobiographical story telling about the life path of a resident of the Pskov-Pechersk Monastery in the period from the 1980s to the late 1990s. The book is narrated in the first person about the development in faith, strengthening in it, and the divine call to monastic life - entering the monastery. It describes meetings with great elders of the last times, the experience of close communication with them, and complex intra-monastery relationships.
