The Atlas reflects all the changes presented in the 6th edition of the "classification of malignant tumors TNM". The classification presented in the atlas is fully consistent with the classification of malignant tumors TNM of the International Anti -Cancer Union and the leadership for assessing the tumor of the American United Commission on malignant neoplasms. In order to unify TNM and Figo systems, the new classification also included the latest changes in the international classification system of obstetricians and gynecologists (FIGO).
The publication of this book pursues two goals: to help oncologists and related specialists come to a single understanding of the features of the spread of tumors and learn to accurately document this process in the light of modern trends, to contribute to the widespread use of TNM classification in practice. Accurate and detailed drawings illustrate the spread of tumors of the following localizations: tumors of the head and neck, digestive system, lungs, bones, skin, gynecological, urological and eye tumors, Hodgkin lymphoma, non -detergent lymphomas.
Publishers hope that the new TNM atlas will facilitate the daily work of oncologists in therapy planning, evaluating the forecast and the effectiveness of the medical measures.
