The book “Dogs Van Doga” is action, fantasy and detective, the story of freedom and fate, about drive and patience, about love and hatred, about time and history.
The main plot is the adventurous adventures in the world of masterpieces of painting in the Russian Federation and Europe. Special services, Interpol and police of different countries are looking for an international criminal-hacker Zinoviy Izumov nicknamed “Killer of Pictures”, which on-line changes the contents of world-famous paintings, penetrating the canvases with the help of a mysterious book on art. In Russia, there is a hunt for Rosyumov’s friends - librarian Tina Averina and the fashionable metropolitan director Kora Metelskaya. Mysterious otherworldly forces play heroes in the ancient Scandinavian chess of the Hnefatafl Viking, but also help to get away from the chase. Seeking Izumov, who disappeared in a parallel world, the librarian goes from Moscow for the Urals, then to the Crimea, and from there to Europe, where the premiere of the avant-garde performance of her friend-director should take place.
Book heroes help travel in time for revived paintings. But not all characters of works of art want to return to the framework of their paintings. “Dogi Van Gogh” return them back - mysterious and strange creatures in the form of dogs of this breed shimmering with fantastic colors, protecting the border between the worlds of people and the masterpieces of painting.
