In recent years, cases of the universal disappearance of girls and young women have become more frequent in the Carpathians. Rumors go different, someone saw a huge monster in the mountains ... Kievan Yegor, together with friends, the same lovers of all-off descents, like himself, come to the Carpathians and agrees with local guides about the descent from Mount Pesyu"s head. However, the weather spoils, and the ski group has to be spent on the mountain, in an abandoned church, where they find a strange icon with the face of a pesigolovtsa. Subsequent terrible events could not be dreamed of Yegor in the most terrible nightmares. He miraculously remains alive and tries to figure out whether tragic events are related to each other and why his mother in his youth is so similar to one of the girls missing on the mountain
