Guillaume Apolliner (1880-1918) on the right belongs to the number of the most famous French poets. At the beginning of the 20th century, he became the figure around which a group of young innovators gathered, who called themselves surrealists, - Andre Breton, Louis Aragon, Jean Cokto and many others. Apolliner was one of the first to call the main aesthetic principle of creativity by the classics and freedom of the experiment. Both in Russia, and abroad, this prostineer of the new consciousness is known primarily by his verses, although he himself believed that he had a much better prose: I have a weakness to believe in my big talent talent. The novels "Three Don Juan" and "Sitting Woman", entering this publication, are this vivid confirmation. The legend of the Don Juan, many times developed in the literature, including those writers as Moliere and Byron, the Apolliner rethought to his own way, creating a work of bold, living and truly charming. The "Sitting Woman" (a kind of antonym of a woman"s fallen) draws a hero, whose fate turns out to be broken - unsuccessful hobbies, loss of values, the mixing of religions.
