For two hundred years, a huge amount of work has fallen into the piggy bank of the theory of revolution, but today this subject of research is one of the most discussed. There is almost no problem within the framework of this subject that would have an unambiguous interpretation and did not cause critical issues. Moreover, a look from the perspective of today allows you to doubt a number of seemingly established positions and put forward fundamentally different interpretations. This study is based on the analysis of more than a hundred revolutions, two dozen cases when events in the country are mistakenly related to revolutions, and the history of several dozen countries, which, for various reasons, avoided this social phenomenon, including those where these revolutions are still coming. The course, the causes, consequences of each revolution in the short -term, medium and long -term perspective, the social composition and motivation of participants were subjected to analysis. A comparative analysis of revolutions was carried out in different countries and in different eras, similar groups were determined depending on the type of revolution, geography, manifestations of social psychology and economic structure.
What is a revolution? Why, where and when revolutions take place? How does a social protest, coup and reform in the state combine? Who makes a social base of revolutions? What moves people? Is the era of revolutions completed? What countries and societies are candidates for future revolutions? These and other questions are reflected and received answers in this book
