This textbook covers fundamental issues, principles, and methodology of economic analysis in historical continuity of traditional and economic-mathematical methods with significant additions driven by the dynamically changing market environment, advancements in information technologies, national and international economic practices. The presentation of the material is aimed at its practical application. The author links the material to real management issues, decision-making in economic activities based on analysis results. An overview of methods is provided, ranging from databases and elements of traditional analysis to knowledge bases, automated information systems - artificial intelligence, evaluating their prospects. The order of economic-mathematical modeling in business analysis is discussed. The author explores non-trivial, less illuminated, informal modeling techniques that combine the possibilities of science and the art of managing an economic system. The use of these techniques introduces new terms into economic-mathematical analysis. The textbook includes intermediate and final assessment tools of various types, practical exercises for individual work, interactive tasks for collective solution (cases), control questions, tests.
