The concept of personality is considered in many ways to achieve Christian thought, closely related to the development of triadology and Christology in the ancient church. The St. Theology saw a sample of genuine personality in relations between the holy Trinity holy trinity. However, in subsequent epochs, especially in Western thought, the personality was increasingly associated with the idea of an independent, autonomous subject, and only in the 20th century the idea that interpersonal relations are constitutive for the individual, which is impossible outside such relations to the fore. This book is devoted to theological understanding of the person in different Christian traditions - Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Protestantism. The editors express hope that such a variety in the selection of articles will allow the reader to get a more complete and versatile idea of that difficult theme that is put in the title of the book
