This manual is a publication of a set of examination tasks approved by the Chief State Inspector of Road Traffic Safety of the Russian Federation, which are used for theoretical exams for the right to drive vehicles of categories "A", "B", "M" and subcategories "A1", "B1" in the units of the State Road Traffic Safety Inspection. Category "A" - motorcycles. Category "B" - cars, the permissible maximum weight of which does not exceed 3.5 tons and the number of seats, in addition to the driver's seat, does not exceed eight. Category "M" - mopeds and light quadricycles. Subcategory "A1" - motorcycles with an engine displacement of internal combustion not exceeding 125 cm3, and a maximum power not exceeding 11 kW. Subcategory "B1" - tricycles and quadricycles. The questions included in the examination tasks allow to test knowledge of: - The rules of the road traffic of the Russian Federation, - The basic provisions on the admission of vehicles to operation and the responsibilities of officials for ensuring road traffic safety, - The legislation of the Russian Federation regarding road traffic safety, as well as the criminal, administrative, and civil liability of vehicle drivers, - The basics of safe vehicle management, - The procedure for providing first aid to persons injured in a road traffic accident. The examination tasks are grouped into thematic sections. This facilitates the study of issues that are necessary not only for the successful passing of the theoretical exam but also for the safe management of vehicles.
