Pax Islamica in Latin means "Islamic World". By analogy with Pax Romana, which historians described the political and cultural space of the Roman Empire, this term was originally used by Islameds to characterize the Muslim world in the era of its highest cultural heyday during the abbasid caliphate period. At the same time, like the modern political scientific Pax Americana, denoting the American "New World Order", Pax Islamica is a metaphor of Islamic civilization as such, in its historical, cultural, social and political aspects. Finally, in the classic Islamic political and legal discourse there is a similar concept of the gift of al-Islam - literally "Abode of Islam", or "Territory Islam", i.e. The space on which the God-stroke law triumph was enthusiastic, separated him from the "Abode of the Unbelief" - the gift of al-Kufr. This last, in the opinion of many modern Islamic ideologues, in the current era turned into the "territory of the testimony" - the gift of Ash-Shahad, where Muslim manifests himself a "confession of justice" and witness and conductor of the final mission of providence in humanity
