The manual provides a program and detailed lesson plans for the course "The World of Man," which can be studied in the 2nd grade of general education institutions as part of the section of the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary Education "Extracurricular Activities in Primary School." The course, taking into account the child's age characteristics of 7-8 years old, examines the world of man from different perspectives: biological, psychological, and social. Lessons are structured in the form of problem dialogues between the teacher and the children. The course content is illustrated with literary works.
The course "The World of Man" is seamlessly integrated into the educational area of "The Surrounding World."
