The publication contains four books of the full publication of the outstanding work of Arthur Schopenhauer "Peace as a will and a performance", which is rightfully considered a classic of German philosophical thought. The two -volume structure of the book was proposed by the author himself, who, in the second (lifetime) German publication, added to the main one (the first), which includes, in addition to "peace and representations", also "criticism of Kantian philosophy", the second volume containing important additions that clarifying The thought of the philosopher in various aspects. This structure is preserved in this book. The publication is opened by an article by the wonderful Russian thinker A.A. Kozlova, who was vividly interested in the heritage of Schopenhauer, who introduces the reader into the circle of basic concepts and problems of his philosophical system.
