The world around us. 4th grade. Workbook

The workbook is a supplement to the textbook "The World Around Us" for the 4th grade (authors N.Ya. Dmitrieva, A.N. Kazakova). The workbook helps students to master the topics presented in the textbook: it expands students' knowledge about the world around them (nature, humans, and society), involves independent completion of tasks, thereby giving them an effective character, creating conditions for the overall development of children. The exercises in the workbook are problem-based, but are quite accessible to fourth graders, as their solutions are based on the analysis and thoughtful consideration of the textbook text. This contributes to the formation of both subject-specific results and universal learning actions. Students record changes in their physical development in the workbook, create a daily routine, conduct experiments on studying mountain rocks, work with a contour map and a plan, continuing to discover new lands, study countries, and the lives of people up to the present time together with travelers.
