Carlos Castaneda, the most mysterious, the most famous author of the second half of the 20th century, who shifted the assemblage point of all humanity. The first book is not yet the 'real' Castaneda, as the young anthropologist cannot yet accept the magical world of his teacher Don Juan and tries to write a 'scientific overview' of the incredible events happening around him. But here begins the greatest spiritual odyssey of modern times. And you, reader, be cautious! Even if you start reading the 11 books of Castaneda just as fascinating magical stories, considering them pure fiction, you will never look at the world with the same eyes again. The reality of the Indian sorcerers and their allies is so dangerous for the usual perception system that Carlos, an anthropologist from Los Angeles, after writing his first book, tries to escape from it forever. But the Power decides otherwise: two years later he returned - and a new cycle of learning began. 'Separate Reality', like the first book, is a description of an experience he does not yet understand. Reader, listen to this good advice: for a more accurate understanding of the Toltec teachings, start your acquaintance with them from the third book, 'Journey to Ixtlan', and only then return to the first two, as it would be too sad, on the one hand, to be scared by an inaccurate description of the Path and discard it, and on the other hand, not to familiarize yourself with those most important tenets of the Teaching that are found precisely in the first two books.
