The Tale of Graffs

The centuries-old secret of Grafforia is no longer a secret. Stepping onto the country's territory, every person acquires a magical gift: levitants can fly, puppeteers give lifeless objects the appearance of living beings, ephemerons outpace even the fastest cheetah... The source of these gifts is white aurum, a stone as ancient as the world, endowing people with one of the eight essences. But what will happen if the miraculous white aurum is stolen right in the midst of a national holiday, right under the nose of Ida Harsh, the best detective in the capital? The stone will end up beyond the country's borders - the essences, the sacred nature of the graffs, will disappear... And what will Irvelin, a pianist and recluse who returned to Grafforia just before the tragedy, do when she is suspected of the theft?
