The notebook contains tasks for 3rd grade students on all topics of the course "The World Around Us" studied in the first half of the year. Using the notebook helps develop students' skills of control and self-control, responsibility for the results of their academic work, provides the teacher with prompt information on the children's assimilation of the curriculum material, and ensures that students master ways of completing various types of test tasks. The material marked with an asterisk (*) is studied at the teacher's discretion. At the end of the notebook, there is a "Big Test" for the final assessment of students' knowledge on the topics, either at the end of the first half of the year. Until 2008, the notebook was released under the title "The World Around Us".
