This poetry collection includes prayers in verse and prose, gathered from various ancient diaries and notebooks.
The first part contains prayers composed in seclusion according to the instructions from the sacred hymns of St. Simeon the New Theologian, as spiritual obedience is the best means of reverent veneration of the saints.
The second part is dedicated to monastic and secluded life, entirely immersed in secret prayers of heartfelt repentance, which form the beginning and culmination of the spiritual life of every believing person. These are prayers that speak of the tragic separation from Christ of a monastic heart, longing to unite with Him in the gracious freedom of a transformed spirit. A special section of the collection presents prayers about love, specifically the difficult trials and experiences of a repentant soul completely consumed by love for God.
Finally, in the third part, there are prayers-reflections on the essence and meaning of life, as answers from a distant and beautiful youth.
