Lewis Carroll is the author of the famous "Alice in Wonderland", an Oxford mathematician, storyteller, and philosopher, a deacon of the Anglican church, an amazing person who gave the world not only the fantastical world of Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass but also a multitude of poems: ironic, funny, absurd, quirky — but invariably fascinating.
Lewis Carroll is also known as one of the best photographers of the Victorian era — and not without reason, as his sharp wit, observance, and precise vision of the master distinguish all his work, full of lively characters and bizarre situations. The book includes selected poems by Lewis Carroll, the celebrated poem "The Hunting of the Snark", as well as articles by Grigory Kruzhkov about the famous Englishman.
