The book "The Second Kuban Campaign and the Liberation of the Northern Caucasus" is the sixth volume in a series dedicated to the White movement in Russia, and introduces readers to the battles of the Volunteer Army in the second half of 1918 based on the memoirs of participants in these battles. For the first time, the book presents testimonies not only from the leaders of the anti-communist struggle, but also from its ordinary participants, allowing a vivid portrayal of the situation and atmosphere of that time, the psychology and spiritual essence of the first volunteers. With few exceptions, the materials included in the volume have never been published in Russia, and those published abroad are bibliographic rarities. The volume is accompanied by an introduction and extensive comments containing several hundred biographical references about the authors and heroes of the essays, compiled, scientifically edited, introduced, and commented on by Dr. Sergey Vladimirovich Volkov.
