Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel is rightfully considered one of the greatest German thinkers who elevated German philosophy to unprecedented heights. In 1817, he published a monumental work titled 'Encyclopedia of the Philosophical Sciences', which most fully illustrates his system and views. The 'Encyclopedia', consisting of three sections, became the most important work of the renowned philosopher alongside the 'Phenomenology of Spirit'. This edition includes the first part of the 'Encyclopedia' titled 'Science of Logic', which, according to the author, is 'the science of pure idea'.
